The section of the highway Arja vas–Šentrupert is designed as four-lane road with two traffic lanes and one emergency lane in each direction with a central divide.
Reconstruction works of the road structure and its widening have been made in two stages and four phases. Construction works were made with the traffic flow directed on emergency, traffic, and overtaking lanes.
