On the fields near Nemščak and Beltinci, we built two of the largest irrigation systems in Slovenia with a total length of 34 km. The Nemščak irrigation system is planned for the area of about 300 ha of agricultural land and the Rakičan irrigation system is planned for the area of approx. 460 ha. Systems are fed with water from a sandpit near Bakovska cesta in Murska Sobota and four wells as well as groundwater, connected to Mura river at Nemščak.
